Shri Indranil Chakraborty is Chief General Manager in the Department of Government and Bank Accounts (DGBA), Reserve Bank of India. In this assignment, he is dealing with policies related to Government business and Accounting in the Bank, policies related to agency banks and integration of RBI IT systems with various Central/State Governments and Departmentalised Ministries for Government processes, oversees the supervision of agency banks and attends high level meetings with the Central and State Accounting Authorities and Finance Ministry officials. He has previously worked in the areas of Financial Stability, Bank Supervision, Internal Debt Management and External Investment Management.
